SOUTH CAROLINA -- 26 turtles were released from a trap and returned to their pond, according to an anonymous communique received by the North American Animal Liberation Press Office (NAALPO) on April 9. The communique contains the following description: "Yellowbelly, painted, mud and musk turtles were all released from a turtle trap and trap destroyed." The group also sent the NAALPO this picture:
The NAALPO also reported other news related to animal issues:
VALENCIA, SPAIN: Spanish matador Fernando Cruz, 21, was gored twice by a 1,200-lb. bull. A second bull fighter was also injured celebrating this same Fallas season. The bull gored the young matador from Madrid in the buttocks and the scrotum. He underwent emergency surgery in a hospital and is reported to be in serious condition.
KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE -- A 47-year-old Knoxville, Tennessee, man was shot by one of his hunting buddies recently while hunting in the Chuck Swan State Forest and Wildlife Management Area on April 7. "The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) says Rick Dailey, 47, was shot by William Snyder while turkey hunting," the NAALPO report states. "TWRA says Dailey had a turkey decoy sticking out of the vest he was wearing. Officials say Snyder accidentally shot Dailey because he thought he saw a turkey. Paramedics took Dailey by Lifestar to U.T. Medical Center to be treated for puncture wounds to the neck, face, and upper body. This is the second East Tennessee Hunting accident in just two weeks."

You forgot to mention the initials of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency; causing the confusion of TWRA. This is in reguards to the last story about the hunting accident. The Matador story...ouch!
